Darrell and a group of our friends adventured through Seoul on a trip through Korea. We got onto our rooftop at the Airbnb and witnessed an incredible skyline. He posed for a few photos and liked the outcome of the shoot. However, he expressed to me he wanted to shoot more. So we met on a cold Chicago Night and headed to the Gold Coast. He picked up a turtle neck from Uniqlo, and out the window of the store, I saw the Chicago Water Tower. A building that survived the Chicago Fire. We went down to shoot some photos in front of the building. Only shooting with ambient and natural light, we pushed the limits of my old camera but were able to capture some strong shots. The shadows were soft and deep, with the slick lines from the architecture and his clothing cutting through.
