with Marcus Darling
Built-in 1997, Heritage and Science Park sits in downtown Phoenix. When scouting locations to shoot, the structures jumped out at me. So many ideas started bubbling in my brain, waiting to pop out onto a frame. When I learned that Marcus was living in Arizona too, we met up and decided to shoot together. He expressed that he was feeling more and more at peace with himself. Our lives connected at a point where we shared greater self-love than we had ever felt for ourselves. There was a feeling of freedom he felt. Freedom to feel. For me, something about sitting on a ledge or on top of a structure feels like freedom. Like you’re on top of the world. I wanted Heritage Park to feel like his throne as he sits on top of it all.
Please reach out if you believe I can tell your story correctly. I offer photography and videography services at an hourly rate. In addition, I take pro bono work, depending on the project scope.
