Under the Manhattan Bridge

On my way to a last-minute trip to New York, I reached out to friends to see who was free for an early morning shoot. Michelle was not only free but excited to create together. She brought the skateboard she had been practicing on through the streets of New York. From Brooklyn to Manhattan, she skated through the streets. The most confident, free, and happy I had witnessed her, I knew we’d be able to capture something extraordinary together. She knew of a skate park she’d visited once, near my hotel on Wall Street. It was under the Manhattan Bridge. It was the perfect location. She had arrived early, so we were able to catch the moment the sun peaked through the bridge. The atmosphere was just right.
